SMS Consent & Messaging Terms

About Our Messaging Program

MYLOA INC ("MyLOA") provides SMS and MMS messaging in connection with mortgage loan applications you have initiated with a licensed mortgage lender ("Lender Tenant") that uses our platform. Messages are sent on behalf of your Lender Tenant by their assigned licensed loan officer through the MyLOA platform.

Program purpose: Mortgage loan application intake, document collection, status updates, scheduling, and transaction coordination. Messages are transactional and operational in nature.

How You Sign Up

You consent to receive SMS messages from MyLOA when you take any of the following actions:

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the stage of your loan application. You may receive multiple messages per day during active phases such as initial intake, document collection, and the period leading up to closing. You may receive infrequent messages between active phases.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. SMS and MMS messages are sent through your wireless carrier; standard messaging rates from your carrier apply. MyLOA does not charge a separate fee for the messages we send. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS messages from MyLOA at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message you receive from us:

You may also tell our AI assistant in plain language that you wish to stop receiving messages (for example, "please stop texting me" or "remove me from your list"). After we receive your opt-out request, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages from this program. Opt-out requests are processed promptly and in any event within ten (10) business days.

Important: Opting out of SMS may affect our ability to support your loan application via text message. Your Lender Tenant may need to contact you by other channels (voice, email, or mail) to continue processing your application.

Supported Carriers

The MyLOA messaging program is supported on the major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and their resellers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your phone number, message content, and related metadata are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your phone number or message content to third parties. We do not share your phone number or message content for marketing purposes unrelated to your loan application.

AI Assistant Disclosure

MyLOA's SMS messaging program uses an AI assistant to help collect and organize information for your loan application. The AI assistant will identify itself as an AI in every conversation. The AI does not make credit decisions, approve or deny loans, or set loan terms. All loan-related decisions are made by your Lender Tenant's licensed personnel.

TCPA Compliance

MyLOA's messaging program is operated in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the FCC's implementing regulations, applicable state mini-TCPA laws, and CTIA messaging guidelines. We honor opt-out requests promptly and we do not send marketing messages without prior express written consent.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Consent terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you via SMS or email before they take effect. Continued participation in the messaging program after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance.
